Recognise your business with the chance of winning a share in prizes worth $6,500, including a $2,500 AMR Shire Industry Development cash prize and runner-up prizes of a $2,000 advertising package from Your Margaret River Region, a $1000 advertising package from Triple M and a $1000 advertising package from the Times!

Brought to you by the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce, the Telstra Margaret River Region Business Awards recognise and reward local businesses for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the region.

And it’s not all about the trophy! Entering the Awards is an excellent way to stop and assess your business, focus on key areas, celebrate how far you’ve come and assist future planning.

All finalists gain valuable credibility and exposure.

Businesses throughout the Margaret River region are invited to enter, and where appropriate, winners will be eligible for entry into the 2017 West Australian Regional Small Business Awards, presented by the Small Business Development Corporation, where they will proudly represent the Margaret River region and compete against businesses from across the State.

2017 Business Excellence Categories

Best New Business presented by South Regional TAFE
The business must be operating for a maximum of 24 months.

Best Micro Business presented by McAuliffe Legal
The business must have zero to four full-time or equivalent employees.

Best Small Business presented by Telstra Busselton Store
The business must have five to ten full-time or equivalent employees.

Best Business 11+ Employees presented by Bendigo Bank
The business must have more than ten full-time or equivalent employees.

Excellence in Customer Service presented by the Small Business Development Corporation
The business must demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service.

Best Home-Based Business presented by Ventura Home Group
The business must demonstrate excellence operating from a home-based office.

Finest Regional Producer presented by Rustico at Hay Shed Hill
The business must manufacture local food or beverages.

Excellence in Tourism presented by Your Margaret River Region
The business must demonstrate excellence within the tourism industry.

Excellence in the Creative Industry presented by Creative Corner
The business must demonstrate excellence within the creative industry.

Community Excellence Medallion presented by Settlers Tavern
Awarded to the finalist who makes the most significant contribution to the community.

Environmental Excellence Medallion presented by the Cape to Cape Catchments Group (soon to be Nature Conservation Margaret River Region)

2016 Business of the Year, Expressions Australia

All finalists will be showcased by video on the Margaret River Cultural Centre’s cinema screen at the 10th Gala Presentation Evening, Thursday 3 August, where the winners will be announced and presented with a winner’s trophy.

The best performing business across all categories will be announced the 2017 Business of the Year, taking home a $2500 industry development cash prize, and the runner-ups will walk away with fantastic advertising packages.

This year we have another spectacular event planned showcasing the cream of the region, with the auditorium beautifully dressed by the creative team at Chic Rustique and a four course collaborative dinner, including canapes from Catering Margaret River, entrees from Rustico at Hay Shed Hill, mains from Settlers Tavern and desserts and service from the students at South Regional TAFE. There will also be fresh beer from The Brewhouse, sparkling wine from Swings and Roundabouts, table wine from Vasse Felix, and more sponsors to be announced!

Guests will also enjoy live entertainment, directed by Creative Corner, and videos produced by local talent, Kelly Harwood.

This is an evening not to missed!
