Some good news from that the Department of Communications recently released:
The NBN Co will spend more than $34 million to give customers on its satellite service access to adequate broadband speeds and provide new satellite services for up to 9,000 additional households, farms and small businesses across Australia.
MRCCI will soon have further information from the federal government as to if/how businesses and residents in the rural areas of the Margaret River Region can obtain satellite connections from the additional 9000 accounts. The MRCCI is being assisted by office of Nola Marino MP on this matter and it is appreciated.
